The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) and SIGA Europe hosted the Lisbon FITS Forum, in collaboration with PwC Portugal. This event coincided with the celebration of the 8th anniversary of SIGA’s legal constitution and briought together global thought leaders to confront critical challenges in financial integrity and transparency within Sport.
Building on the success of the New York FITS Forum in 2024, which culminated in the New York Declaration calling for global action against corruption, the Lisbon edition was designed to deepen these discussions. Topics include the regulation of multi-club ownership, the impact of investment funds in European football, the Clearing House System for financial transactions, and the role of the European Union’s Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) in safeguarding sport.
