The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) is pleased to announce the release of the seventh edition of the Sport Integrity Journal (SIJ), focusing on Anti-Corruption and Financial Integrity in Sport. Timed to coincide with the conclusion of SIGA’s Anti-Corruption Week 2024, this new issue underscores SIGA’s ongoing commitment to cultivating transparency, accountability, and ethical principles across the global sports landscape — principles firmly rooted in the New York Declaration on Financial Integrity and Transparency in Sport.

Contributors to this edition range from high-level policymakers and industry experts to leading academics, and offer insights into practical measures for curbing illegal practices, fortifying financial safeguards, and reinforcing the credibility of Sport. Readers will find thought-provoking perspectives on establishing more robust oversight mechanisms, fostering stronger international cooperation, and empowering all stakeholders to raise the bar of integrity in their respective areas of influence.

By presenting a wealth of strategies, case studies, and best practices, the seventh edition of the SIJ aims to spark dialogue and inspire collective action. SIGA invites federations, leagues, clubs, sponsors, athletes, supporters, and regulators alike to join forces, sign the New York Declaration and ensure that the fight against corruption and the pursuit of financial integrity remain at the forefront of the Sport industry’s evolution.
