Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, Co-Founder & Global CEO of SIGA and Chairman & CEO of SIGA LATIN AMERICA, welcomed the Sports Summit as a new strategic partnership:
“I commend the Sports Summit for joining SIGA’s global movement and supporting our call to action. This collaboration allows us to bring the Sport Integrity conversation to the forefront in Argentina and the wider Latin America, and engage directly with an increasing number of stakeholders who share our vision for a credible, transparent and sustainable Sporting Ecosystem. It follows the Sport Integrity Forum in São Paulo, on 11 November, and showcases our relentless commitment to globally spread the much-needed adoption of the SIGA Universal Standards on Sport Integrity and our Independent Rating and Verification System (SIRVS). If we really want to see Sport free from any form of unethical, illicit and criminal activity, governed and operated under the highest integrity standards, make no mistake about it: this is the best way to do it.”
Sebastian Lateulade, President & Founder, Sports Summit, emphasized the relevance of adding SIGA as an Integrity Partner for their Argentinean event, and added:
“We are pleased to announce that the Sports Summit is joining the global initiative Sport Integrity Week, which aims to promote a strong commitment to best practices and transparency across all sports organizations. As part of our ongoing efforts to raise standards in the sports industry, we will organize an activity with SIGA dedicated to Good Governance at Sports Summit Argentina. We believe that integrity is the foundation of fair sport, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that all sports stakeholders – athletes, coaches, and leaders – operate within the highest ethical standards. Together, we can build a brighter future for our sports community.”
