Building on the legacy of the Sport Integrity Week, SIGA has upgraded this universal celebration into a month-long global movement, designed to deliver more impact, more engagement, and greater participation than ever before.

Since 2020, the Sport Integrity Week has established itself as a recognised platform for uniting the world behind the shared mission of promoting integrity, good governance, transparency, and accountability in sport. The 2023 edition reached five continents, with over 70 hosting partners in 22 countries and 35 cities. In 2024, it connected stakeholders from the USA to Oceania, maintaining a decentralised approach while empowering SIGA Members and Committed Supporters to take ownership of reform.

The transition to the Sport Integrity Action Month, formally approved at the SIGA General Assembly on 31 July 2025, marks a natural and strategic evolution. Over the course of November, curated and open-source events will unfold on every continent, supported by a global leadership roadshow engaging decision-makers worldwide.

Urgent priorities will take centre stage

Good Governance, Anti-Corruption & Financial Integrity;
Sports Betting Integrity;
Youth Development;
Technology, Innovation & Global Business;
Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability;
and Athlete Voices & Digital Integrity in Sport.

This expanded format provides more time for strategic engagement, deeper thematic coverage, and stronger global outreach. It amplifies SIGA’s presence, broadens participation, and strengthens collective action to ensure sport is governed to the highest standards of integrity worldwide.

Publish an op-ed or internal campaign on integrity issues
Conduct a staff training session on integrity
Begin the SIRVS certification process (for sports organisations)
Become a SIGA Member or sign the New York Declaration on Financial Integrity and Transparency in Sport
