Sport Integrity Action Month Kicks Off in Brazil
The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), through SIGA LATIN AMERICA, is officially launching the Sport Integrity Action Month with a special Opening Session at Sports Summit São Paulo 2025, marking the beginning of an unprecedented international mobilisation for Sport Integrity.
Brazil and Latin America thus become the starting point of an agenda that, throughout the entire month of November, will bring together sport leaders, governments, regulators, sponsors, and commercial partners, alongside experts, fans, and stakeholders from across all continents, around a common purpose: placing integrity at the very core of global sport development.
This milestone consolidates the collaboration between SIGA and Sports Summit, which began in Argentina in 2024, expanded to Madrid earlier this year, and now reaches the United States and Brazil. The partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to mobilise the international sports ecosystem and confront the greatest challenges threatening the credibility and sustainability of sport.
Among the programme highlights, on 1 November, SIGA Latin America will host the International Expert Summit on Sports Betting Integrity, as part of Sports Summit São Paulo 2025.
The Expert Summit will gather renowned experts to debate one of the most pressing issues of our time: the regulated sports betting market, its challenges and opportunities. Key issues will be addressed, including competition manipulation, criminal infiltration, corruption, money laundering, responsible advertising, youth and vulnerable groups protection, and international cooperation.
The occasion will also serve as a strategic opportunity for SIGA to present its global initiatives in the field of sports betting integrity, resulting from ongoing collaboration with regulators, licensed operators, and sports organisations worldwide.
With SIGA as the Official Sport Integrity Partner, Sports Summit São Paulo enters its third edition as the largest and most influential sports industry gathering in Latin America. From 30 October to 1 November, São Paulo will become the epicentre of global sport debate, bringing together executives, investors, athletes, federations, clubs, sponsors, broadcasters, streamers, media, and fans for three days of innovation, business, and strategic reflection.
