MISSION 100 and Strategic Country Hubs will drive greater participation, national implementation and measurable impact

One hundred days after Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros was elected to serve a third and final term as Global CEO, the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) is unveiling the institutional framework that will guide the next phase of its global development.

Building on the foundations established during its first decade, SIGA is moving decisively from global advocacy to large-scale implementation, with a renewed focus on growth, representativeness, institutional sustainability and measurable impact.

At the heart of this new phase is MISSION 100, SIGA’s global mobilisation agenda to bring together 100 leading organisations from Sport, government, business, international organisations, civil society, academia and foundations around one shared purpose: Making Integrity Irreversible.

MISSION 100 will be supported by the SIGA Strategic Country Hubs, a permanent international network designed to connect SIGA’s global leadership with national sporting ecosystems and translate international standards into sustained action at country level.

The Hubs will mobilise leaders from Sport, government, business, law, academia and civil society to advance the adoption of the SIGA Universal Standards, promote dialogue, build strategic partnerships and deliver measurable integrity outcomes.

Together, MISSION 100 and the Strategic Country Hubs form part of an integrated institutional model that connects SIGA’s Universal Standards on Sport Integrity, SIGA Independent Rating and Verification System (SIRVS) frameworks, research, thought leadership, global communities, partnerships and implementation capacity.

This new framework reflects the central ambition of the 2026–2030 mandate: to transform SIGA’s global authority into wider participation, deeper implementation and lasting institutional reform.

During the first 100 days, SIGA has also advanced the implementation of its Global Strategy 2026–2030, strengthened its international operating model and reinforced its commitment to ensuring that integrity becomes a permanent, measurable and independently verified standard across global Sport.

Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros re-election was ratified on 14 April 2026

Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, SIGA Global CEO, said:

“One hundred days ago, we began this mandate with a simple conviction: that the future of Sport cannot be left to chance.

It must be built. It must be protected. And it must be earned.

Over the first decade, SIGA has built the standards, the coalition and the independent mechanisms that global Sport was missing. We proved that change was possible. We proved that integrity could be defined, measured and independently verified.

Foundations, however, are not the destination. They are the place from which we rise.

The next decade must be the decade of implementation. The decade in which global ambition becomes national action. The decade in which promises become accountability, standards become practice and leadership becomes measurable impact.

That is why we are launching MISSION 100. Not because one hundred organisations can solve every problem, but because transformation has always begun with those prepared to lead.

And that is why we are building the SIGA Strategic Country Hubs: to take our mission into national sporting ecosystems, to bring leaders together, to turn principles into progress and to ensure that integrity is embedded where it matters most.

We know the challenges. We know the forces that resist change. We know that trust, once lost, is not easily recovered.

But we also know this: when people of purpose stand together, when institutions choose courage over complacency and when leadership is matched by accountability, change is not only possible. It becomes irreversible.

SIGA is on a roll. We are stronger, more confident and more determined than ever.

The first hundred days have set the direction. The years ahead will define the legacy.

One mission. One legacy. Infinite impact.”
