Arena ESG is a private law association, a non-profit like SIGA, with the mission to raise awareness and support football clubs in adopting sustainable management and operations. It aims to turns clubs into partners in mobilizing their fans and building a more just, prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable society.

As the newest member, Arena ESG has become one of SIGA’s arms in Brazil to promote and implement the ESG theme in Brazilian football.

In addition to becoming a member of SIGA LATIN AMERICA, Arena ESG announces that it will be a hosting partner of the Sport Integrity Week 2024, an event in which it will collaborate with SIGA in coordinating and curating topics and speakers of note, as well as developing commercial proposals and fundraising to ensure the event’s success.

Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, Global CEO of SIGA, Chairman, and CEO of SIGA LATIN AMERICA, welcomed the new member:

“We welcome Arena ESG to the fold of SIGA LATIN AMERICA member organizations. I highlight the fact that a newly created organization assumes, from the first steps, the awareness that only with concerted action from various stakeholders will it be possible to carry out the much-desired reform in sport. Arena ESG will be an important partner, not only at the local level but also globally. The mobilization of football clubs is an important step in this collective mission, and together, with the participation of several of the largest Brazilian emblems that have already joined us, I am certain that we will be closer to impacting sport in Latin America positively.”

Marcelo Linguitte, CEO of Arena ESG, commented enthusiastically on joining SIGA:

“For Arena ESG, which is just starting its activities, March 11 is a milestone in our short history. It is a tremendous joy to join SIGA and be a partner in Brazil. Given SIGA’s relevance in the world of sport, for its competence, Arena feels honored with the possibility of contributing to it in the development of projects and initiatives that will make Brazilian football mobilize our society for the construction of a more just, inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable country.”
