The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) has just announced the release of the eighth edition of the Sport Integrity Journal (SIJ), an issue entirely authored by women and dedicated to advancing gender equity and female leadership in sport.

This timely edition marks the conclusion of Women’s History Month and anticipates a series of key milestones in the global SIGA Women agenda, including the upcoming Summit on Female Leadership in Sport – Dubai Edition on 8 April, the Brazil Edition on 12 May, and the launch of the next cycle of the SIGA Women Global Mentorship Programme.

Grounded in the principles of Good Governance in Sport, this edition shines a spotlight on the transformative power of women’s voices and leadership. It reinforces the idea that true governance reform must be inclusive and that equity and representation are not just goals — they are governance imperatives.

Bringing together a diverse group of trailblazing women from across the global Sport ecosystem, the eighth SIJ offers unique insights into the reforms, innovation, and cultural shifts needed to ensure a more inclusive and sustainable future for sport.

As SIGA continues to champion integrity, good governance, and gender equity, this edition underscores the pivotal role that women play in shaping policy, driving innovation, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

We invite SIGA members and committed supporters to explore the compelling articles within this issue and to Side with SIGA in building a sport environment where every voice is heard, and every leader has a seat at the table.
