Registration is now open for the SIGA Summit on Female Leadership in Sport.
The highly anticipated summit will be hosted by Mastercard, one of SIGA’s founding members, and takes place at their Technology Hub in Manhattan, New York, on 7 March 2023. The summit will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participation from all over the world.
Starting today, participants can secure their places. In-person places are limited and are available at an early-bird rate of USD 295 until 10 February. Digital passes are free, with a donation option – all income (registrations and donations) will be invested back in the programme.
The summit will celebrate International Women’s Day and will feature live panels, keynote speeches, and one-on-one interviews with high-profile industry leaders. As a part of SIGA’s ongoing efforts to promote good governance in the industry and to drive positive change – including the #SIGAWomen Global Mentorship Program currently in its fifth annual cycle.
This international event dedicated to fostering Gender Equity and Female Leadership in Sport, will bring together over 100 global leaders and senior executives from all sides of the industry: sport organisations, governments, international organisations, sponsors, civil society, academia, and media.
During one action-packed day, delegates will participate in meaningful debates on the most pressing challenges that impact women in the sports industry, both those who are just starting their careers and those who are at the top of their profession.
Among other relevant topics, the summit will promote discussion on critical issues related to Good Governance, Female Leadership in Action, Athlete Activism, Mentorship, Youth Development and Protection of Female Athletes, and Comercialising Women’s Sport.
