SIGA AMERICA, the North American subsidiary of the world’s leading sport integrity coalition, is launching today, during Sport Integrity Week 2021, its high-level senior Advisory Board, as part of its efforts to expand SIGA’s global footprint and usher sport into a new era of enhanced governance and greater integrity.

Established as a non-for-profit organization under section 501 (3) (c), SIGA AMERICA focuses on three strategic priorities:

  1. Good Governance in Sport (including race, gender, diversity and inclusion);
  2. Sport Betting Integrity; and
  3. Youth Development and Protection in Sport.

The creation of SIGA AMERICA, now reinforced with an independent, high level Advisory Board, is part of a tailored continental approach to the increasing governance and integrity challenges facing Sport and the wider industry in North America. This fundamental step marks the coalition’s rapid expansion, with SIGA EUROPE created earlier this year, and plans for SIGA ASIA in the pipeline.

Chaired by Dan Mannix, Senior Advisor, and former CEO of CSM North America, the Advisory Board is responsible for providing strategic guidance and independent advice to SIGA AMERICA’s leadership on relevant matters and projects, supporting the implementation of the organization’s vision, mission, and global reform agenda.
