The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), the world’s largest independent and neutral coalition in the field of sports governance and integrity, has just announced the launch of the first edition of an innovative Masterclass on Female Leadership in Sport. This career-amplifying event will take place on March 5, 2024, at Mastercard’s cutting-edge technology hub in New York City, under the auspices of the SIGAWomen Programme, in the margins of the UN International Women’s Day and during Women’s History Month.

The Masterclass, running from 08:30 to 13:00, is dedicated to empowering and facilitating Women in Sport Leadership. It will foster dialogue, share knowledge, and build purposeful networks between female leaders and aspiring leaders in the Sport Industry. The not-to-be-missed event will address a wide range of topics including governance, policy and integrity, partnerships with purpose, the exponential growth of women’s soccer, wellness and more!

This initiative is part of SIGA’s commitment to promoting gender equity in the boardroom and enhancing the role of women in Sport. It will be served as a side event of the long awaited 4th edition of the Summit on Female Leadership in Sport, taking place on  March 6, also hosted by Mastercard in New York City.

The interactive Masterclass will enable participants to engage directly with high-level speakers from diverse Sport and Brand backgrounds as they share their career journeys and will build upon this knowledge exchange through interactive exercises that will facilitate the development of skill sets and tool kits to overcome issues and maximise opportunities. The session will adopt a Chatham House Rules environment, ensuring an open and candid exchange of ideas. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to delve into critical topics, each presented by a leading figure in the Sport and Business world.
