After three editions at the Mastercard Tech Hub in Manhattan, the SIGA Summit on Female Leadership in Sport is making its debut in Dubai on Tuesday, 8 April 2025. This historic milestone marks a new chapter in advancing good governance and gender equity in the global sports industry. Hosted by SIGA founding member Mastercard and curated by the Sport Integrity Global Alliance, the event will bring SIGAWomen’s mission to the dynamic city of Dubai, fostering meaningful dialogue and action around female leadership in sport.

Set against the backdrop of Dubai – a global innovation and business hub – the Summit on Female Leadership in Sport will serve as a vibrant platform for renowned female leaders and supportive male allies from across the sport sector. This one-day high-level event is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices, inspiring actions that will enhance the representation of women at the highest levels of sports organisations.

Building on its international reputation, the 2025 Summit – Dubai Edition reinforces SIGA’s commitment to transforming the sports landscape by upholding the principles of diversity and inclusion. Through targeted initiatives, such as mentorship, specialised training, and a dynamic platform for sharing authentic experiences, the SIGA Summit on Female Leadership in Sport is paving the way for structural change in the sports industry. Topics to be addressed include good governance, the power of brands to unlock the commercialisation of women’s sports, sustainability, male leaders as agents of change, athlete activism, and showcasing SIGAWomen’s successful global mentorship programme with premium networking moments throughout the day.
