New report details progress since the start of SIGA’s 2026–2030 mandate and sets out the priorities for delivery, global mobilisation and impact in the next phase
The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) today published its First 100 Days Progress Report, providing a transparent account of the progress achieved since Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros was re-elected as Global CEO and the SIGA General Assembly unanimously endorsed the organisation’s 2026–2030 Global Strategy and Action Plan.
Covering the period from 14 April to 23 July 2026, the report demonstrates how the renewed mandate is translating strategic vision into concrete action, measurable progress and tangible impact.
The publication assesses implementation across SIGA’s principal strategic priorities and highlights key milestones delivered during the opening phase of the new four-year mandate, including:
- The strengthening of SIGA’s institutional governance, leadership and financial oversight;
- The launch of MISSION 100, SIGA’s flagship global mobilisation initiative to expand its global coalition and accelerate the adoption of higher standards of governance, integrity and independent accountability across Sport;
- The expansion of SIRVS through a new global accreditation and certification model, strengtheningthe framework for independent assessment andcertification against the SIGA Universal Standards;
- The comprehensive review of the existing SIGA Universal Standards and the development of two new sets of Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability in Sport and Artificial Intelligence and Sport Integrity;
- The launch of SIGA EARTH and the continued expansion of SIGAWomen, including its Global Mentorship Programme and growing international platform;
- The expansion of SIGA’s international thought leadership, communications, regional engagement and strategic partnerships.
In a significant demonstration of leadership by example, SIGA also confirms that it will submit its own governance to an independent assessment against the SIGA Universal Standards on Good Governance.
The assessment will be conducted by an independent auditor and will examine not only whether the appropriate policies and structures are in place, but also whether they operate effectively in practice. The principal findings, recommendations and resulting improvement measures will be reported transparently to SIGA’s Members and stakeholders.
The decision reflects a principle at the heart of SIGA’s mission: accountability is credible only when it is matched by independent scrutiny and measurable action.
Commenting on the publication, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, SIGA’s Co-Founder and Global CEO, stated:
“The first 100 days do not define the success of a four-year mandate. They establish its direction. And ours could not be clearer: to turn ambition into delivery, commitments into measurable results, and momentum into lasting impact for Sport.
This report is, fundamentally, an exercise in accountability. Leadership is not measured only by what we promise, but by what we deliver — and by our willingness to be judged against the standards we advocate. We have a responsibility to account to our Members, our global community and the wider Sport Integrity ecosystem for what we committed to do, what we have delivered and what remains to be done.
That same principle applies to SIGA. We cannot credibly call on global Sport to embrace transparency, good governance and independent scrutiny unless we are prepared to submit ourselves to the same discipline. We promised; we deliver!
These first 100 days have strengthened our foundations, accelerated implementation and expanded our global reach. But they are only the beginning.
With MISSION 100, we are now raising the level of ambition: mobilising Sport across countries and continents behind a shared objective — stronger governance, greater integrity and independent accountability.
The direction is set. The foundations are stronger. The momentum is real. Now comes the real test: turning momentum into irreversible change. Bring it on!”
