The iconic Morumbi Stadium, home of Brazilian football giants São Paulo FC,  was the stage for the 2023 Integrity Match, hosted by the club as part of SIGA’s Sport Integrity Week 2023.

Players, former players, athletes, and industry leaders played a match without referees and with people of all genders, with the aim of promoting respect for the rules, for gender diversity and inclusion, curbing any kind of prejudice.

During the event, São Paulo FC took promoted the debut of Mel, its newest mascot, inspired by the athlete Melânia Luz, who made history by becoming the first black woman to be part of a Brazilian delegation at the 1948 London Olympics.
