The members of the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) convened for the second and final session of the 2026 Annual General Assembly, reaffirming their collective commitment to advancing Sport Integrity through strong governance, active engagement and shared responsibility.
The General Assembly unanimously approved SIGA’s 2025 Financial Statements, the Independent Audit Report, the 2026 Budget, and strategic direction.
The meeting also provided members with a comprehensive update on the implementation of SIGA’s 2026–2030 Global Strategy and the significant progress achieved over recent months. Discussions focused on a number of strategic priorities, including the continued rollout of the SIGA Independent Rating and Verification System (SIRVS), the expansion of SIGAWomen, the ongoing review of the SIGA Universal Standards, the development of new commercial solutions, and the launch of the SIGA Sport Member Club, designed to strengthen member engagement and deliver additional value across the global coalition.
Opening the meeting, SIGA Global CEO Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros underlined that the organisation has continued to translate “strategy into action, and action into achievement”, highlighting the momentum generated across multiple initiatives and reaffirming that SIGA’s ambition is to continue leading meaningful reform across the global sporting ecosystem.
The discussions reflected a high level of engagement from members and broad consensus around the organisation’s priorities for the years ahead. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of growing the SIGA community, strengthening members’ participation, and ensuring that every stakeholder contributes actively to expanding the global Sport Integrity movement.
