The third in-person Meeting for the Sport Transparency Index project was held today in Athens, Greece, hosted by the International Olympic Truce Centre (IOTC). This meeting marked the culmination of year 1 of the project and the beginning of the Indexing phase of European Sport Organisations.
The 30-month project has now created the mechanism to objectively assess all European Sport Stakeholders in relation to Transparency levels of a set of universally applicable Integrity indicators. The Sport Transparency Index project will work to improve standards by shining a light on current capacities and concurrently creating the means to facilitate positive change through associated education, policy recommendations and knowledge exchange initiatives.
SIGA EUROPE are proud to lead this multi-stakeholder project that is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.
This project is intended to be inclusive and accessible for Stakeholders from every aspect of the Sporting Ecosystem. As such, all are invited to register to participate in a variety of ways to this ground-breaking project.
