Women on Wednesdays dinner debate gathered 20+ personalities in Porto, Portugal, to discuss the most pressing issues related to Female Leadership and Gender Equity in Sports.
Powered by Abreu Advogados, and included in the Sport Integrity Week 2023, the invite-only high-level event soon proved to be a hub for people from different backgrounds to share – in private and open conversations – their experiences.
Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, SIGA Global CEO, and Katie Simmonds, SIGA’s COO and #SIGAWomen Managing director set the scenes with inspiring speeches, before giving the floor to some of the guests, who were distinguished as WoW champions: Sandra Lopez (Exec-Tech, former Intel and Microsoft), Sofia Silva e Sousa (Partner, Abreu Advogados), Julie Kassap (General Manager, N1SC), Susana Feitor (President, Portuguese Sports’ Foundation), Richard Weber (Former Chief of the Criminal Investigation Division, US Department of the Treasury), Ivan Bravo (CEO, Aspire Academy), and Roberto Armelin (Law and Compliance Officer, São Paulo FC, SIGA’s latest member).
