This topic is a key component of SIGA’s reform agenda in the field of Good Governance in Sport to promote greater diversity and inclusion in the composition of the board of sports organisations. SIGA recently led by example and changed its Constitution to stipulate gender equity in its Council and established a specific Standing Committee on Gender, Race, Inclusion and Diversity to tackle all threats regarding any kind of discrimination in Sport.
During #SIW2022 SIGA announced the inception of the GRID Awards and promoted discussion on the topic.
