Golo FM Portugal and Gol FM Brazil have joined their efforts with the Sport Integrity Global Alliance, and became the most recent members of the SIGA Media Partners network.

With the inclusion of the two online radios, SIGA expands its presence in Brazil, where it already had two media partners: the website Regata News and the magazine Placar.

Coinciding with the launch of SIGA LATIN AMERICA, SIGA is also expanding its influence in Latin America, where the daily newspaper As Colômbia and CADERO, Argentinean Chamber of Online Radios, already played an active role.

Also in Portugal, the support of the media to Sport Integrity and to SIGA keeps increasing , and Golo FM Portugal joins other relevant media: A Bola, Autofoco, CNID, Correio dos Açores, Diário dos Açores, Diário de Notícias, Eco, Jornal i, Jornal de Notícias, Lusa, O Jogo, Semanário Novo, Record, SOL, Sport TV, TSF, Visão and Zerozero.

Golo FM has been on-air in Portugal since July 2016 and has had a presence in Africa since May 2017. From the very first hour, Golo FM strongly focuses on digital and has been introducing new content on its platforms. Gol FM Brazil will soon reach Brazilian radios in a partnership with one of the most influential television channels in Brazil and one of the strongest brands in the global communication industry.

João Vinhas, founder and CEO of Golo FM and Gol FM commented on the connection with Sport Integrity Global Alliance:

“As the head of Golo FM Portugal and Gol FM Brazil, as media outlets focused exclusively on sports, I attach particular importance to the SIGA media partner status because I believe it will strengthen relationships and reinforce the commitment to understanding the institutional relationship between our companies and SIGA. Equally, we hope to be able to contribute to promoting to athletes, officials and all those who are passionate about sport that a commitment to integrity will bring benefits to all involved.”

Disclaimer: The agreement to join efforts with SIGA does not involve any financial transactions, ensuring respect for the values of a free press and the independence of each of the Media Partners and SIGA. It also doesn’t include any obligation that would threaten editorial freedom. SIGA will cooperate at all-time with the Media Partners upon their request, keep them informed about the Alliance activities and Integrity issues, and promote mutual participation in initiatives regarding Sport Integrity awareness and promotion.
