SIGA is pleased to announce that the deadline for the submission of applications to the #SIGAWomen Global Mentorship Program has been extended until July 31st.

Given the high demand from aspiring female leaders in sports and the strong participation of high-level executives willing to share their knowledge and serve as mentors capable of inspiring successful careers, we have decided to extend the application period.

In doing so, SIGA is confident that it will create an even stronger community and have a positive impact on the lives of more women, which is crucial for breaking the gender glass ceiling.

If you are a woman aged 24 or over and looking to create a path in the Sport Industry, this is the right opportunity for you. The programme is designed to promote future leaders in sport and foster greater diversity within the sporting industry, as advocated by SIGA’s Universal Standards on Good Governance.

Teaching vital leadership skills and creating invaluable experiences, the six month programme will offer prospective mentees the opportunities to forge relationships with women that have trodden the leadership path, with a combination of group as well as bilateral digital sessions.

For the symbolic administrative fee of £250.00 (*), the programme offers 8 Group Digital Workshops with high-profile guest speakers on topics including Goal Setting; Leadership and Integrity; Athlete Transition; Good Governance in Sport; Sexual Harassment & Discrimination in Sport; Mental Health; Male Champions; Bonus Topic to be voted on by the mentees.
