SIW2023 keeps on expanding: The Unveiling of the Integrity Match, New Latin American Partners, and Sport Integrity Forum Details

As the anticipation builds for the fourth annual Sport Integrity Week (#SIW2023), Latin America is poised to play a pivotal role in SIGA’s flagship  thought leadership event. This week’s inclusion of new hosting partners from Brazil, as well as the announcement of the Integrity Match, a game organized by SIGA in collaboration with São Paulo FC, solidifies Brazil’s commitment to promoting Integrity in sport.

With the involvement of hosting partners in São Paulo, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Avellaneda, Malalcuello, and Mexico City, the region is set to take the lead in driving meaningful change during Sport Integrity Week 2023.

SIGA’s thought leadership event saw an impressive number of Latin American organisations pledging their commitment. This week brings exciting news with the addition of Integrity4All of and the Institute for Prevention & Fight Against Money Laundering (IPLD). Both add to a pioneering group including São Paulo FC, Clube Atlético Mineiro, Racing Club, Universidade do Futebol, Brazilian Confederation of Snow Sports, Sport Integrity Mexico, Parliamentary Front for the Modernisation of Football, Movement for Integrity in Football, Globo TV, São Paulo Municipal Secretariat Sport & Leisure, the responsibility programme Em Busca de Uma Estrela and Pacto Pelo Esporte.

The Sport Integrity Forum hosted by SIGA LATIN AMERICA on 4 September in São Paulo at the auditorium of Morumbi Stadium will serve as a critical platform for Latin American stakeholders. The Sport Integrity Week 2023, from September 2nd to 9th, is a game-changer, uniting global stakeholders. Latin America’s passion for sports integrity leads the way, driving positive change for sports’ sustainable growth across the region and beyond.
