In a dedicated session, Montagliani will discuss the process of reform of both his own organization, which he has led since March 2015, and that of FIFA, where he was a member of the FIFA Reform Committee established following the challenges faced at the global soccer body in 2015.

Topics covered will include the reforms that have taken place in Concacaf, the route to implementation and the key steps along the way, as well as the next steps and challenges facing the confederation that governs soccer in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Montagliani will give a unique insight into the task of unifying multiple stakeholders globally into FIFA’s governance reform packages, as well as looking at the current challenges and opportunities being addressed. Topics discussed will include the continued growth of women’s football, and, through his chairmanship of the FIFA Stakeholders Committee, the proposed reforms of the player transfer system and the roles of agents and intermediaries in the world game.
