One hundred days after his re-election by acclamation for a third and final term as Global CEO of the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros has delivered a special video message reflecting on the progress achieved and setting out the organization’s priorities for the next phase.
From the review of the SIGA Universal Standards and the expansion of SIRVS to the strengthening of SIGAWomen and the launch of SIGA EARTH and MISSION 100, the first 100 days have marked a decisive shift from vision to action — and from commitments to independently verified progress.
Warning that political interference, corruption, conflicts of interest, opaque decision-making and organized crime continue to threaten sport, the SIGA Global CEO calls on sports organizations and their commercial partners to take a clear stand and turn promises into proof.
“Integrity in sport cannot be proclaimed. It must be demonstrated.”
Looking ahead to the next 100 days and SIGA’s tenth anniversary in January 2027, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros reaffirms the organization’s ultimate ambition: making integrity in sport irreversible.
